Guests - are able to read "Read This First" forum, the Cannabis Compassion Café Press forum, and the Useful Resources forum, and may register. NOTE: No one using a proxy server is allowed to become a member! You must live in Oregon to join this site unless you are here for the out of state groups! If you register through a proxy, your registration will be deleted and no notification will be sent.
Validating - are able to read "Read This First" forum, the Cannabis Compassion Café Press forum, and the Useful Resources forum. As soon as an admin checks your IP address and validates you, you will become a Member.
Members - are able to read all of the public forums, and must post an introduction in the Introductions Only forum within 7 days. This is the only forum they have permission to post in. Members cannot view other members' profiles, or email or PM (Private Message) other members.
Active Members - as soon as a Member posts in the Introductions Only forum he or she will automatically be promoted to an Active Member and have access to all the public areas of the site except for the Private Request forums. Active Members do not have permission to upload files to the site, and there are NO med or clone requests allowed - these are only permitted in the Private Request forums, which Members can't see. If you have copies of all your paperwork from OMMP but your card has not arrived yet, you can still have an administrator post a med or clone request for you. You must PM an administrator and submit your request to them, and you must have your paperwork in order to present to whoever fills your request.
Private Members - have sent in their Username, Oregon ID and OMMP card scans or photos and they have full access to the standard areas of this site, including the ability to upload files. This group also has access to the Private Med Request and Clone Request forums. The only regular forum they don't have access to is the Grower Request forum.
Senior Members - are Private Members (who have an OMMP card), and have been members here long enough to become familiar with our community, and for us to get to know them. They have access to the Grower Request forum, in addition to all the other forums the Private Members have access to.
Cannabis Compassion State Groups - When a member from a state other than Oregon sends their state's medical marijuana paperwork to the moderator for that state, and it is verified, they will have access to that state's group. They will have the same access permissions as the Private group, except their Private Request forums will be in their state group's forums instead of the main part of the site. Each state group also has several forums that mirror the ones in the main section of the site, except they are specifically for verified cardholders of that state. The state groups are invisible until you register for that state. Send a PM to an Administrator for instructions on who to contact for state registration.
In addition to these six regular primary groups, there are also Site Administrators and Moderators, the staff of the site. We are here to serve you, please ask for help if you need it. There are also a number of special secondary groups that a member might belong to, in addition to their primary group. These groups sometimes have access to other forums the general membership can't see; a good example is Las Hermanas, a women's only forum. If you would like access to that one, by the way, send any Administrator a PM (Personal Message, accessible through your My Controls link) to request to be added to that group. Needless to say, men need not apply for this one!
