The basic concept that is the foundation of this site is Compassion, and what makes it work so well, is paying it forward. We believe in it. It works. Many people have come here looking for help in becoming self-sufficient, or other help, and we're glad to be able to provide it. There are people here with huge hearts who will surprise you with their generosity. We have members who are knowledgeable about all aspects of growing and using cannabis, from grow-room construction to preparing cannabis concoctions. We have members who donate medicine and clones freely to other members who are trying to become self-sufficient, until their own gardens start producing and they are in turn able to pay it forward by helping someone else. Paying it forward is a requirement of this community. We understand that each of us has different gifts that we can share, and each of us may pay it forward in different ways, but please be a participant in the community and contribute something. Anything that benefits the community, or improves someone's quality of life. Do not come here and expect that people are going to give you a free ride forever. We are compassionate, and our members have given much freely, but if you only post to ask for donations, if you are not involved in the community, to whatever extent your circumstances allow, if you do not intend to pay it forward... our support will quickly fade. Our resources are not infinite - our medicine is precious, sometimes the need is great and there is no surplus, and always what we do have must be given sparingly and used conservatively. Paying it forward is essential to our ability to continue to help people, and to our very existence. If you give something back to the community - whether it be medicine for those in need, wisdom to help us weather the storms, humor to brighten our days, helping new growers be successful, or anything at all that shines - you will be warmly welcomed into our circle.
