Don't forget that all low income can receive subsidized help with their electrical bills with the LEAP program. Applications are sent out Nov. 1st every year, so if you didn't receive one do get an application and apply. They also pay them out on a first come first serve basis, so get your application filled out and in soon.

I called the Energy Asssitance number in this area and they wont start setting appointments until after Dec 1st......... that number is 503 588-9016
